How Both Aimpoint CompM4 & M4S Are Better & Advanced Tactical Gear

Aim straight and shoot better. There's one rule and its simple, keep your both eyes open. For a moment, lower your rifle and focus both eyes on the target. Then without taking your eyes off the target,bring your rifle into position and now looking at the target through the Aimpoint sight.

Aimpoint consumes very little power (ACET). An electronic sight requires power to work and duration depends on power consumption of light source and battery capacity. It uses 3v Li batteries for best temperature & storage capabilities.

 
Aimpoint CompM4s & Aimpoint CompM4 both uses ACE Technology, with reflex collimator sight.Light Source wavelength 650nm red light. For both LED is used & safe for eye. Absence of parallax in both of them with unlimited eye relief. No centering  required here in both cases. Both the models give night vision compatibility. Both Have anti reflex coating on all surfaces and multi-layer coating objective lens with no magnification 1x. Dot intensity adjustment is different for CompM4s is manual rotary switch in low position and for CompM4 is in high position. Battery life is around 8 years of continuous use. Extra bright daylight settings. Made of high strength extruded aluminium.  Sight with integrated mount is 335gm.Temperature compatibility from -45C to +71C; water resistant and submersion ble up to 45 mtr. No Radioactive materials are used in any of them.

In the CompM4s the battery compartment is moved to a lower position on the scopes right side. Shooters who plan to use their Aimpoint without a magnifier will find this model offers better situational awareness by un-cluttering the surrounding field of view. It displays a smaller 2 MOA aiming dot.

The fastest reticle to place on target is the single red dot which provides better hit probability on closer and moving targets. Red dot sights remain focussed on target. Shooting with both eyes open allows you the liberty to keep vigil around you and you have time to deal with new situations. The field of vision is limited with magnifying scopes while locating your target through a tube with one eye closed, wasting valuable time and subtleness.

Aimpoint Red Dot sights are made with no magnification which disturbs the view. It uses LED and completely harmless to the eyes. The red light from the LED is reflected back to the eye from the front lens; all other light passes through undisturbed. Irrespective of your eye position the reflection of the LED is always parallel with the sight's optical axis due to impeccable design of the double lens and its light refraction property. The point of aim and impact always coincide.

Aimpoint Red Dot sight is not laser sight. A laser is visible on the target. Aimpoint  Dot Sight is not a magnifying scope with an illuminated reticle.With illuminated reticle the dot must be centered  in sight and  you worry about eye relief. With Aimpoint Red Dot Sight no need to centre the dot, no eye relief.

Aimpoint Comp M4s sights are available in two versions. One with a low battery compartment and another with a high battery compartment.
