Tips for underwater photography

Do you like going on vacation and plan trips frequently? Do you click a lot of pictures on every vacation? Is photography your passion? While you are planning for the scuba diving, you are sure to pack your Suunto dive computers, wet suits and prescription drive masks. What you might forget is your underwater cameras; do not forget to buy them. You can either buy a disposable or a reusable one, but make sure you buy it from the reliable and a reputable dive store. You can also buy the digital camera if you wish to see your photos immediately after capturing them.

Taking the photos while diving under the water is not easy; it needs a lot of patience and practice. There are a lot of factors that are needed to be taken into the consideration while clicking the pictures while you go for diving or snorkelling. Out of the several points, let us have a look at some of the most important ones.
1. It is advisable to buy a digital camera so that you do not run out of the role and click unlimited pictures till you feel like.

2. Hire a complex one so that you can carry it easily; the heavy ones are difficult to handle during diving.

3. Take the pictures of the fixed objects rather than the moving ones so that they are clear and you gain confidence that you can click good photos while snorkelling.

4. Once you gain the confidence and practice, you can start clicking the pictures of moving object sand creatures like fishes.

5. Practice to balance; do not fight against the buoyant force; relax and try to capture the photos patiently.

6. Ask questions to your diving staff and instructors; they know it better what to capture and how to capture. Their guidance will help to take the best photos.
7. When you have a lot of people around you, it will be difficult to take pictures. Wait for an empty place; it will be easy for you to click photos where there is hardly anyone around you.

8. Learn to adjust the properties in your camera with respect to the time you are going for diving. There are different lighting settings for the day and night. So, learn adjusting the properties before you jump into the ocean.

9. The last but not the least; try to take photos only in the safe water. Make sure that the animals and environment is safe enough to click pictures.
