Considered as one of the more exciting places in the world, Thailand is sure to thrill most adventure enthusiasts. Commonly known for its huge shopping malls and complexes, extreme elephant rides and exotic adult clubs, Thailand is also a premier scuba diving destination. Diving Thailand has increasingly become a favorite for many tourists worldwide that are searching for that special experience.

Thailand has a warm climate with the months between October and April being the best time to visit the country. The waters around Thailand at this time of year are ideal for scuba diving. The rainy season falls outside his window.

Diving Phuket

Phuket is largest Island in Thailand. It is rich with underwater life which includes reefs, wrecks and even underwater volcanoes. It is also littered with hundreds of different fish species, rare turtles, dolphins, whales and even sharks. Phuket is easily accessible by plane from many major Asian and European destinations including Australia. With dive sites and destinations such as the Similan Islands. Shark Point, King Cruiser Wreck and the Andaman Wreck, Phuket offers everything a scuba diver searches for.

Hin Mouang Scuba Diving

Hin Mouang is famous for its pelagic fish, making it one of the most famous diving sites in Thailand. With breathtaking underwater peaks, large fish shoals, pretty carpets of anemone, gigantic corals, gorgonian, and other extravagant sights, this place makes diving Thailand simply spectacular.

Hin Daeng

Hin Daeng is another unique site and is fairly close to Hin Mouang. Morays, octopi, shrimps, crayfish, gray reef and leopard sharks, and barracudas are the most common creatures you are most likely to encounter here. Manta rays, whale sharks and nurse sharks often visit this area.

Koh Kraden Wreck

Off Koh Kraden Islands coast is another recommended dive site famous for a sunken Japanese destroyer. Flora and fauna have made this wreck their new habitat. Sea horses, giant morays, soft coral, lion fish and great schools of fish are also found here during any scuba dive.

Koh Dok Mai Diving

A dive location well known mainly for night diving is Koh Dok Mai. Inhabitants of this dive site include sea urchins, lobsters, moray eels, leopard sharks and sea snakes. This is a great place for a totally different diving experience.
