This site is one of the most famous wreck diving destinations of the entire world due to the amount of historic sunken ships which can be visited and seen with great clarity due to these area's waters usual transparency.

One of the most visited Coron Bay's wrecks is the Irako. This was a refrigeration ship which belonged to the Japanese and is very impressive due to the fact that it looks like if time hadn't affected it. This wreck is located almost at Coron Bay抯 entrance and those who dive in this area could also observe a variety of sea creatures along with the ship,

Another very interesting wreck which divers can visit while being at Coron Bay is Taiei Maru. This wreck is a Japanese tanker located at south of the area called Conception, on Busuanga Island. The Taiei Maru is the biggest Coron Bay's wreck and divers should dive about 10 meters and 16 meters into the water in order to be able to see it.

Akitsushima, a Japanese seaplane tender is another of the most visited Coron Bay's wrecks. This wreck is located near Manglet Island, next to Busuanga Island, and is usually surrounded by several different sea life creatures. This way, divers go visit this wreck could not only observe the sunken ship but barracudas, tunas and yellow fins among other marine species.

Kogyo Maru is a 160 meters long Japanese freighter also sunken in Coron Bay's area. This wreck still contains some of the objects which it was carrying when it was sunken, such as construction materials, anti-aircraft weapons, a cement mixer and a bulldozer. At some points, it is surrounded by a variety of corals and different fish species that have made of the ship their habitats.

Another Coron Bay抯 wreck which divers should not miss while visiting the area is Morazan Maru. This was another Japanese freighter which was sunken at Coron Bay抯 and which is surrounded by a wide variety of marine creatures. Divers who visit this wreck could meet banana fish, puffer fish and giant bat fish among others.
