Diving Pemba Destinations for Advanced Divers

Did you know that there are actually twenty-two great diving sites in Pemba, many of them that are excellent for the advanced diver? In fact, out of the twenty-two diving Pemba locations, six locations serve as perfect getaways for the highly skilled, advanced diver. Discovering underwater adventure begins in diving Pemba sites and scuba diving Tanzania destinations!

You can explore Tanzania diving destinations like Shimba Hills: a diving Pemba site that has a diving wall with a maximum depth of 25 meters. You get great visibility in this site as well: you will find that, on average, you can see 12 meters out into the ocean waters. The currents in this diving Pemba destination are wonderfully light, and you can easily get to Shimba Hills if you travel by boat. Along the sloping wall that makes up Shimba Hill you will have the chance to see a diverse variety of marine life, schools of fish, and you might even catch site of a turtle or two.

While checking out scuba diving Tanzania destinations for advanced divers, do not miss out on the Hammerhead Stretch: accessible via boat, this location has waters that run forty meters deep and visibility in the waters is roughly fourteen meters. The currents are moderate in this location, and here you will find plenty of fish along with hammerhead sharks!

Mechangangazi is yet another of the many excellent Tanzania diving destinations you can check out: this reef drift is located forty meters deep in the ocean waters and the visibility here is impressive. You can see twenty five meters in all directions! You will need a boat to get to Mechangangazi, since this destination is affixed in a lagoon. This diving Pemba destination has impressive coral beds, and marine life includes things like trigger fish, unicorn fish, groupers, and turtles too.

You are bound to find the Michael Big Blue diving site in Tanzania equally impressive. This site is definitely excellent for advanced divers looking for a site with exciting and challenging strong currents. Here you will discover sting rays and reef shark after you have conquered the currents and the dive is extraordinary since the waters are some forty meters deep.

No diving Pemba getaway would be complete without a stop into the Mtangani Hammerhead Dive site for advanced divers. This impressive destination has waters some sixty meters deep with a visibility of twenty meters in all directions.
