Scuba diving is something that enlightens and intrigues many people. Many people think of scuba diving as an activity that simply requires swimming down a bit from shore and looking at different water species.

But in reality, some people have jobs that none of us even never knew existed, like scuba diving in water towers.

Different Dangerous Jobs

There are many different jobs hat require scuba divers, but they aren’t talked about often, if at all. When people say you can be whatever you want to be, these jobs really attest to the statement. So, we’ll get to the first dangerous job of:

Many places that have high rain levels and that tend to flood a lot employ people experience in water tower scuba diving. The reason this job is available to enthusiasts is because the water levels and contamination rates need to be monitored. However this job isn’t for everyone, as the depths of these towers tend to be deathly due to the huge amount of gravitation pull while trying to safely get to the bottom of a water tower.

Shark Monitoring; How Do They Live?

Aside from scuba diving in water towers, monitoring hot spots where different species of sharks live is essential. Shark monitoring allows scientists and specialists to determine what the living conditions are of these sharks. This helps to maintain life for the sharks and prevent any hazards that can be foreseen. Don’t take this job lightly as people in this industry have lost their lives due to their duties.

Water Supply Diving; Bringing us Viable Bottled Drinking Water

The people who do this job are trusted to test, filter and deliver water in 48 states of the U.S. People who dive in this job line are dealing with huge unimaginable water tanks filled with drinking water. Diving for water that is used to drink is a hazard due to the liability of drowning or being crushed by huge containers.

Whether it’s scuba diving in water towers or monitoring shark habitats, these jobs among plenty of other scuba diving jobs are not only helpful to our economy and earth, but are certainly as dangerous a job as you can get. Think twice before thinking that enjoyable scuba diving would get you ready for a job like this, as they are both two totally different worlds.
