Getting Scuba Diving Classes from the Top Three Diving Organizations

2016/7/26 14:17:13

When it comes to taking scuba diving classes obviously one would like nothing better than to learn from the premium institutions in the world and so would need to consider organizations such as Professional Association of Diving Instructors or PADI, National Association of Underwater Instructors or NAUI and finally Scuba Schools International of SSI.

Professional Association Of Diving Instructors

The Professional Association of Diving Instructors or PADI is one of the premium organizations as far as recreational diving is concerned and it is also the largest organization that is currently providing scuba diving classes. They have offices spread in different parts of the world including Canada, Australia, Japan, Switzerland, the U.K., Sweden, New Zealand and of course the U.S. Since the year 1967 when PADI began operating, it has since spread its tentacles to various parts of the world and among the courses offered by PADI is the Open Water Diver course, which is highly regarded and considered a prestigious diving certificate in all corners of the world.

Another one of the scuba diving classes offered by PADI is the Discover Scuba Diving program in which students are taught basic scuba skills as well as concepts. The instructions are taught by highly professional PADI instructors in a pool or pool-like environment. After completing scuba diving classes in the Discover Scuba Diving program students can go on to take the PADI Specialty Diver as well as the PADI Rescue Diver programs.

Scuba diving classes with NAUI Worldwide is also a good idea and recommended because this organization that has been imparting instructions since 1959 promotes and supports dive safety. It is at present the number two ranked organization in terms of size in the world today. You can take scuba diving classes with NAUI for training programs such as the Skin Diver all the way through to the Instructor Course Director. There are a number of other specialty scuba diving classes offered as well such as the Scuba Rescue Diver, the Search and Recovery Diver and the Nitrox as well as technical diving classes.

The third option as far as getting world-class education in scuba diving goes is to check out Scuba Schools International or SSI. This is another worldwide organization providing scuba diving classes with specialization in business support for those who are planning on going into the diving business. From 1970 onwards, SSI has been offering various scuba diving classes that are well recognized in all parts of the world and thus worth taking a second look at. You can check out scuba diving classes such as the Scuba Ranger and Try Scuba as well as the Passport Diver and the Open Water Diver, as well as the Scuba Skills Update and Snorkeling.
