Tarp Surfing Make Your Own Waves

Riding the surf waves and getting barreled is great fun, but what do you do when the ocean goes flat. The answer, make your own waves of course. Skateboarding was invented by surfers for this very reason, and now there's a game in which you can not only skate but also surf as well. Tarp surfing is a fun game that you can play in your backyard or an open parking lot and get barreled again and again.
Tarp surfing gives you the chance to make your own waves. Just place the tarp on the ground and ask a friend to curl the tarp over your head. It's a simple simulation of cresting waves, which are similar to the ones barreling longboard surfers. So, if you like to get under a billowing wave without getting wet, go tarp surfing.
The main setup required for tarp surfing is an open place with 5 to 10 feet of space on the sides of the tarp. Make sure you are not interrupting any activity or putting yourself in any danger by not wearing the appropriate protective gear for instance. After placing the tarp on the ground, weight it down. Tarps are available in different shapes and sizes, and the weights can be arranged in different ways. One arrangement is weighing down two opposite corners of the tarp and keeping the other two free. The person helping you by creating the tarp wave will run from one free corner to the other. As you see the wave developing, ride through the tube on your skateboard and get barreled on land.
Since the wave is generated by your helper, you can ask for different levels of difficulty. You can start by riding through straight barrels and then ask your buddy to twist the tarp around to make it more challenging.
