Baseball long toss

Question
I have been searching for months for the answer to this.  I heard that if you can long toss 260 feet you can throw 80mph and if you can long toss 305 feet you should be able to throw 90.  I was wondering if anyone knew the distances of the speeds in between.  I know you will say it does not correlate but i really am just looking for a chart to go by to see how i am progressing with my long toss

Answer
Harry,
I'd love to be able to tell you that there was some sort of formula or chart for arm strength/velocity, but there isn't.  Everybody is different and will improve at a different pace.  Keep playing long toss and strengthen your lower body and you should see an improvement in velocity.  Sorry I can't do better than that, but let me know if you have any other questions.
