Improving Baseball Batting: Strategies for a 12-Year-Old

my son is 12,he strikes out a lot ,then hits a double.he hits good in practice and in the cage,he is a good all around player except for the plate..is there a way to help him hit more..

Hi Larry,

you answered your own question there, my friend.  Practice.   Just keep him practicing in batting cages and with you pitching (if you are able).  It's just a matter of continual exposure and conditioning the young muscles to hitting that ball.  

The stronger he becomes the better he will hit.
