Question
My son was born sept, 28, 1998. In the upcoming year what age group would he have to play. Someone told me he could stay in the 9-10 year old, but I thought he would have to move up. Thanks

Answer
Stephen,

I am sorry for being so late on the answer.  I never got an email notification about the question.

I would check with your league rules some leagues don't follow the official "little league" rules.  It also depends on the ability of your son.  If he can stay in the younger league and he needs more practice the younger league may be less competitive and your son can build confidence before moving up.  On the other hand if your son is ready don't hold him back,  move him up to play in the older group and play with better competition.

Let me know if I can help with anything else.
Thank You,
John Priest
