Little League All-Stars & Travel Teams: New Rule Clarification
Question
Hi - I was under the impression that a player who was named to a Little League all-star team could not at the same time play also on a travel team in a different league. But I just saw a posting you made on May 8 that a new rule had gone into effect a few weeks earlier stating that this rule had changed. Is this true? Can all-stars now continue to play on travel teams at the same time as the ll tournament is going on? Thanks!
Answer
Terri,
Yes, as long as their participation in the travel team is not hampering the Little League Tournament. If your league Board of Directors feel that your childs participation in a travel league is causing a hardship for the Little League team, the child can be removed.
I hoped this has answered your question. Should you have anymore, please don't hesitate to ask.
