Reaching Back in Pitching: Accuracy and Technique

how do many pitchers are able to reach back behind them and still hace alot of accuracy?

Hey Jordan,

It's great hand-eye co-ordination.. What else?  I wouldn't recommend it. But if it comes naturally, go for it. As long as you throw where you are aiming, don't change anything. My 10 year old daughter rolls her bowling ball that way.  She is very erratic.
