The Evolution of Basketball Terminology: A Historical Overview

Question
I am writing a research paper about basketball. I need to know what the original terminology for basketball was, and what was added to the terms throughout the years. I have been researching this question, but have been unable to find the results. If this could be answered by 12-10-2004 that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Answer
I usually do not answer homework or research paper questions and will not start now. What I will do is refer you to a website that should provide you with enough information to complete your paper. Good luck!

To start if you read the history of basketball you will see there were no backboards or dribbling when the game was invented. Two terminologies that were added as the game evolved. You will have to read the about the history and that will help you with your questions. One more example the baskets weren't rims but peach baskets and there was no 10 second line or key. I hope this helps.
