Correcting Left Hook in Bowling: A Guide for Senior Leagues

I  HAVE NOT    BOWLED IN 40 YRS. WANT TO JOIN A SENIOR LEAGUE   TRIED TO BOWL BY MY SELF TODAY I AM RIGHT HANDED THE BALL IS HOOKING TO THE LEFT BAD WHAT CAN I DO TO CORRECT IT  THANK YOU

Talk to the bowling center you plan to bowl at and ask what lane condition you should expect when you bowl with the seniors. Let me know what they say.

When the ball hooks a lot, you need to get onto more oil to get the ball to skid down the lane. Are you comfortable moving more to the left, and angling your body to project the ball to the right (some)?
