Hi Warren.

Im nearsighted and wear glasses. Been using them for 10years when i bowl. One day i forgot them and bowled well. I can see my target at the approach but as i get to the foul line i see my target better but blurry as i watch the ball hit the pins. Now im confused if i should bowl without them.

Bowling is about balance and consistency. With your glasses, you may be so focused on the target that you might drift a little in your desire to hit what you're shooting at. You're in the same zone, without the glasses, but your approach may be more direct and consistent because the intense focus on the target is gone.

Or, the one time session without your glasses may just have been some lucky shots and a more relaxed you. A relaxed and free swing is very repeatable.  

Unfortunately, modern lane conditions are NOT very demanding. If you bowl better without the glasses, hitting a fuzzy area maybe all the "targeting" you need. Good luck. Please let me know what works better, with or without? Thanks for the question.
