Help finding a particular ball

A little background first...  A am 31 years old and average around 200 in two different bowling houses using a rotogrip.  It is a good ball, I can get it to work into the pocket great, but its just not the ball I am looking for.  
The ball I am looking for is the ball that I used to bowl my first 300!  It is the ball that I used to pick up my first 7-10 split.  It is the ball that I really learned the game of bowling with.  When I was about 12 or thirteen I was really good friends with an owner/operator of a local bowling alley.  He approached me one day with the ball that changed my game forever!  A "RED HAMMER"!! I bowled with that ball off and on for about 10 years and then somebody stole it out of my car!!  
I have tried several different balls, and I have been comfortable with many of them....  But, NONE of them seem to compare to the urethane covered "RED HAMMER"!!  
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could buy that could be equivalent to my old red hammer?

You are looking for a "magic" bowling ball. Worked great when you were younger, what makes you think that on modern (heavier) lane conditions and different oils and patterns that a Red Hammer might work?

Without knowing more about your game, suggesting the closest to a red Hammer is just a guess. But, here goes...Available new, center heavy and cover adjustable, I'd suggest the Storm Natural. If you've lost a little speed try the Roto Grip Grenade or Storm Natural Pearl or Brunswick Avalanche Urethane.

You might find a (similar) Hammer if you just post a "Used Ball Wanted" sign at your local pro shop or bowling center? Good luck finding a new old faithful, and good bowling.
