Im a tight end who wants more agility.

Question
My name is Andrew, I'm a 6'2 200 lb Tight End/Full Back who wants running back agility with Wr speed, can you help? Our coaches mostly look at fast players who can make highlight plays. they mostly want to give it to their best player on the field. We usually run a spread offense which relies on a QB to throws great passes. unfortunately our QB isn't the best and our offensive line seems not to like our QB. I taking my sophomore year off to bring up grades and become impact player.

Answer
Hello,

You need to look into buying a training parachute. But understand that some people will not be fast or lighting quick. Unfortunately, you seem to playing for a speed oriented offensive team. don't let that discourage you. Keep working hard. Because it is the guys  who do all the dirty work that makes a team go.

Get your legs stronger. When running for speed, make sure that you are hitting the balls of your feet, not to far in front of you. The reason is because it is the push that gives you speed, not how long your stride is. Find a hill in your area and run sprints up the hill. Run bleachers, making sure that you are only hitting the bleachers with the balls of your feet.
