College Football Walk-On Prospects: A Guide for High School Seniors

Well i've played basketball my four years in high school and im currently a senior about to graduate. I've always enjoyed playing football at the park and with just random people, and i never really thought about playing football with a real football team. I was wondering if the chances of walking on at any college level are there and if they are there, what could i do to improve my skills and somehow play for a college team?

Im currently 17, 5-11, 168 lbs and want to play at DB. Either Free Safety or cornerback, but not sure at which one i could fit into.

Colleges will still ask for high school film for walkons....If you really have little or no experience you can stioll try, but obviously the odds are really stacked against you....

But nothing wrong about going after your dreams....Good luck.  Keep me informed....
