fullback/catching

Question
i want to be a full back, but i can't catch hardly at all. the only catches i do catch, are near impossible catches lol. i can catch if it bounces off my chest, but i want to catch with my hands.

also, i need help understanding the wishbone, i think.

a three back set with two tightends. there is one back in slightly in front of the other two. the backset kind of looks like a triangle.

we might go in to flex, trips, left, tight, or right. a little bit of shotgun

i know what to do in a two back set, but i get confused in a three back set. our main plays are power, lead, sweep, trap, and dive. and some plays you probably won't know call boise and idaho

i am really just worried about catching right now. any ideas for receivergloves? or something for backs and linemen? thanks

Answer
Bobby it is important to catch the ball as a fullback.  Fullback make a lot of short receptions in most offenses.  You need to consentrate on looking the ball into your hands.  Your hands should be open wide forming a pocket or a dimond shape.  Then receive the ball softly into how hands.  Your hands should give a little on contact with the ball.  Last but not least you need to catch at least 100 balls a day until you start to see noticable improvement.  You should be catching 85% of the balls thrown.  GOOD LUCK COACH NOEL!!
