What would be an acceptable 40 yard dash time for a junior college wide receiver or a receiver in divisiion 2 or 3.

That is kind of an open ended question as what would be "acceptable"  that depends on the coaches and the level of talent on the team.  Some coaches at the JC level are happy if their WR can run a pattern and catch a pass.  As for times I seem to see WRs average 40 times between 4.4-4.8.  Generally, if you can run a 40 under 4.8, you are in the ballpark.  With some conditioning and run training you will be able to increase you ability and decrease your time.
