flanker gym programme

I am a 17 year old male looking for the gym programme for the flanker, number 7, in rugby...aswell as a simple fitness programme??

Answer
Early in your training use "Starting Strength" by Coach Rippetoe. He has a book on Amazon and many You Tube videos.

As you hit your strength goals you can move into a maintanence strength program and insert speed and endurance training. I suggest finding a good work out via a gym or athletic trainer.

Note: get your to your strength goals FIRST and only then transition into endurance. You can realistically only build strength on it's own, bulk and endurance are two seperate and different styles of training.
