Position Dilemma

Question
Hi there Nick,
I'm a 5'6,170lb 18 year old with 6 years of experience playing at school level. I'm currently playing at club and school level in Singapore. I basically play a winger or a centre at club level and any position in the backline for my school.
I'm currently facing a dilemma of picking my position for my school. I'm one of the best kickers and passers of the ball in the squad. I run gaps, crash and hold the ball up rather well. I'm considered to be one of the bigger backs in my country. I've 3 positions that my coach allowed me to pick from they are fly-half, centre and full-back. I've played at fly-half for a year. Centre for another year. Winger for 2 years and Full-back for 2 years.
I didn't enjoy my time as a winger and a full back though as at my level, teams don't really kick much and I'll have very little time with the ball.
Would you mind giving me a little advise on the positions that would be most suitable for me given all the information I've provided. Thanks a lot :)

Answer
Hi JX,

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you.

Honestly without being able to evaluate your game  in each position it is hard to give advice.

Either way I would simply tell you to go with the position that you will enjoy the most and get the most game time in. I think center is your spot based on what you have told me though.

As for kicks - if they are not common in your league then be the guy who uses this tool. If guys think "no body kicks" then you can exploit that. get your team mates to draw the opposition and then put through a grubber or pop over kick for you to run on to. You can do this for your team mates as well. Practice it as a move in training and make it a weapon.

Good luck
