Mastering the Backhand Pass: Technique & Tips
Question
I would like to know if there any special gripping method or tricks in having a spin pass to someone through my back? Thanks for your kindly help.
Answer
Hi Frank,
I will do my best but it is not a strong point for me, sorry to say.
The pass is basically the same as a basket ball pass. Not a great pass for distance. The biggest thing is to make sure the guy catching it is aware that a pass is coming.
This type of pass is something you just have to practice and "play with" so you get it tweaked to become accurate every time.
The guys I have seen use it have their normal passing game down perfect before moving on to this type of pass. Make sure that is the case for you to.
