Difference rugby union / rugby league?

Question
I've heard that there are two kinds of rugby, union and league.
Where is the difference?

Thanks for your answer.

Answer
G'day mate.

Alright, their are two types of rugby. League and Union, thats right. In australia, rugby is considered as union and league is just league.

The main difference is that in union, is there are 15 players on the paddock, a try is 5 points, a penalty / field goal is 3 points and there are rucks, mauls and lineouts.

In league, there are 13 players on the field, a try is 4 points, a field goal is 1, a penalty is 2 like a conversion, and the rules are a "set" of six. Once you are tackled in league you have to roll the ball under your legs and a person will pick it up and throw it to the next receiver. After six tackles, there is a changeover, but noramlly a team will kick after the fifth.

Anything else you need to know, email me back ok mate?

Alright, Cya later,

Locky Tait.
