Question
QUESTION: Hi,
I am thinking about joining SDSU rugby team, but I am worried whether they are going to accept me or not because I never play rugby before, and I weight only 167lbs 5'11. My question is can I play rugby?
Thank you.

ANSWER: G'day Tua,

Let me know what SDSU is as I am not immediately familiar with it and let me know your age and the age of the players you will be playing with  / against.

I am sure the answer will be "Yes" though.

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION: San Diego State University. Even though my weight and my height do not match, but I could lift some heavy weight such as dumbell press with 120lbs for 6 reps and etc. I am 22 turning 23 this year. I think other players are probably in the early 20 or mid 20.

Answer
Hell yes mate,

Rugby has a position for every body type, depending on your speed, co-ordination and skills look at half back, 1st 5 or wing.

Good luck and have fun. If the university wont have you look up a local club like OMBAC or Old Aztecs. Club rugby tends to be more social and fun than college anyway.
