Question
im 13 (yr 8 almst yr9), i live in England and i play flanker. howvever i am wondering whether i should play a different position because im only 52kg and 1m 11 cm tall. im a good tackler, iv got good stamina, good pass...do you think i should maybe play fullback??

Answer
Hi john,

If the coach is starting you at flanker and has no problem with your size then stay there. At 13 you have no idea how big you will end up being at 22.

Ask your coach but the best way forward is to play the position that gets the most game time. If you are being started at flanker then someone thinks that regardless of your size you should be there. Good work!
