Hello,

I am a 13 year old male who played rugby last summer at a non-sports camp as an elective  (30 mins a day, one week). I immediately thought it was a cool game and I am looking for a rugby summer camp near massachusetts where I could  get better at rugby.

thank you,
Will Simon
Answer -
Mr Simon,

Do you want to move into full contact rugby, or do you want to continue with non-contact rugby for another year?

There are some fairly strong rugby communities in your area.  Where specifically do you live?

Thank you,

Deane Shephard

Thank you for responding so quickely. I live in Sudbury, Massuchusetts and want to move into full contact rugby.

Will Simon

Answer
Mr Simon,

I assume you went to the 2004 Summer Youth Rugby that was hosted by the Boston Wolfhound RFC.

The only thing that I can find relating to clinic in your area will be the 2005 Summer Youth camp hosted by the Wolfhounds.  All enquiries on Youth Camp 2005 to [email protected]

In your area, Brines Sporting Goods in Sudbury (15 Concord Road, Sudbury, MA 01776) provides rugby supplies.  They may know something about the local rugby community.

I have already sent them all emails asking them about local clinics.  If I get anything back from them, I will contact you.  You may want to have your parents contact the clubs to get more information for you. If there is strong enough local interest in a youth program you can also get alot of information about youth rugby in the USA at www.usarugby.org
