Season start date?

Question
A easy one this, being new to Rugby I'm not to sure about it so what is the usual start date for the Rugby Union Season

Answer
It depends in which country you live.

In England the first League games are mid September, with the knock out game first round at the beginning of September. There are some games in August but they are more for the senior clubs.

So for a non professional team the season will start approx 1 or 8 September.
