Final score

Question
What is the correct final score of a softball game that ends via mercy rule..? Team A is winning 9-0. Bottom 5th, bases loaded. Girl hits a bomb (but it stays inside the park)and 3 runs score. Is the final score 10-0 or 12-0?

Answer
If it was an honest to God homerun, in your situation all runs count, the final score is 12-0.  

If there was an error that allowed extra bases, the girls that score are the ones that took the number   of base that where credited as a hit.  For example if the runners were on first and second and the hit was really a double, then just the girl on second scores and the girl on first is credited as moving to third.
