NSA Softball Rules: Batter Carrying Bat & Rounding Bases

Question
can a batter carry the bat to firstbase..
round firstbase...then toss the bat to foul
territory...and keep running?
This is a rec leauge, girls 14 under.. we play in.
We folllow NSA rules.

I don't do NSA but their rulebook is available online. I scanned the rules and could not find anything that would put the batter out in your situation.
