12U Fastpitch Softball Rules: Key Differences & Regulations

I have coached 14U 16U and high school. I am now starting a 12U team . I have struggled finding what rules are different? I was told ball size  But i cant find it anyplace. Are there many differences in 12U and  older girls rules?

I'm assuming you are referring to fastpitch softball. 10U play with an 11 inch ball but 12U and older use the 12 inch ball. Preceding 2001 the 12U pitching distance was 35 feet but since then it's been 40 feet for the 12U teams just like the older teams.  

So to answer your question -- the 12U rules are the same as the older girls. There are no restrictions unless they are placed there by a league for local play.
