Fastpitch girls catchers mit

Question
Most of the girls who catch in our 14 and under league do not have catcher's mits to use.  I'd like pick up an inexpensive glove to have available for our catcher next year as well as use myself to catch for some of the girls.
I don't know what to look for as to size, brand, style etc.
Can you offer some general tips?
I've seen a Cooper Black Diamond 222 - 32".  Would this be appropriate for that age group?
They use a 12" softball.

The Cooper 222 is a youth boys (Ages 9-12) 32 inch circular baseball catcher's mitt therefore this glove is sized for a baseball.

You would be better off purchasing a female specific catcher's mitt designed for fast pitch softball. Popular gloves and mitts manufactured for fastpitch softball are made by Nokona,  Louisville, and Demarini. Mitt sizes from 31-34 inch circular are okay.
