hi i hope you can clear this up
its a junior division 9 - 13 yr olds we follow asa the rover postion where exactly and please be as specific as possible can that rover player  play?
some are saying behind 2nd base and the center fielder as long as she doesn't enter the baseline and others are saying 2nd base and center field but in the grass until the ball is in play then she can move forward to the base.
please help

Hi Marcie,

it doesn't matter the age group unless you have local rules to the contrary or it's coed, in ASA the only requirement is that all defensive players (excF2) be in fair territory at the pitch.

You can position them wherever you want
