St. Croix Magna Flex Fishing Rod Value & Market - Expert Appraisal

fishing pole I am in possession of a pole designed by ST. Croix. I would like to know it's value and if there is a buyers market for an item such as this.

Hi Tom,

The St. Croix Magna Flex model is from about 1963 and does have gold plated guides...and perhaps other components as well...and sold for about $50 when new. Value today would be in the $50-$75 range and perhaps more given the mint condition of the rod.

This rod comes with two separate handle systems and can be used as a fly rod, casting rod or spinning rod. This is a very nice example.
