fly rods and reels

Hi,

We purchased via estate sales 2 fly rods and reels.

1.  Mohawk Fiber Glass H-I, with a Wolverine Fly Reel made by Kalamazoo Tackle Co. No. 1695-Model E.

2.  Action Glass Tubular Glass with the green cloth cover says Action Rod Model 2086 by Orchard Industries Inc.  Detroit, MI Model No. 2086-8"6" w/ a reel by UCO Sttel Head- Spin Fly, Pat. No. 2649259.

Would you please tell us if they are vintage or antique fly rods and reels and what their apporx. value is, if anything?

Hi Roesmarie,

I would be out of line answering this one.  The real expert on this is Joe Douglas on this site.  I do know that the Action rod is probably worth $30.  They aren't really a collected brand.  

That UCO reel may be worth some money.  Could be $100 or more.

The Mohawk rod, again maybe $20.

The Wolverine Fly reel also $20 or less.

Your good find may be that UCO, but check all this with Joe Douglas.
