reel assembly

Question
Bought a South Bend 550 level wind reel, likely from ?0s, needs a cleaning, came partly disassembled.  Can抰 figure out how to install one wire spring piece.  Any pointers on how I could see a diagram of how such reels are to be assembled?  Thx.  Todd

I searched through all of my schematics and could not find one for your reel.  I would suggest visiting:

I am positive you can get your scematic from somebody on that forum.  These guys are very helpful.
