Browning Midas

Hi Joe,

Since you helped on the other, I only have one other and then I won't bother you again :-).  I cannot even find mention of this rod anywhere.

It is a Browning "Midas" Graphite M7645P, 4 piece pack rod 7'6"
#4-5WT.  There is also an "HF6" after the 4Sec inscription.

All 4 pieces together weight only 3.1 ounces.  Beautiful action.  
Anything on this one, including value?  I have a W&McGill pack rod that I think it is going to replace :-)

Hi Ken,

I didn't find much on this one either.  I did find one for sale at abut $35 or so. I assume this one is older and is glass.  The newer midas rods from Browning have a high degree of Boron in the mix for making the blanks.

If this is one that will swap out for a W-M pack rod easily, then the value should be in the $30-$60 range depedning on condition.
