its 5 ft blue rod  with a quick release for real changing  thank you for any help you can give

I am checking with some fellow collectors. I can tell you, there were many manufacturers that made steel products that also made fishing tackle. Literally hundreds of small operations.

These steel rods typically run in the $5-30 range depending on condition.
