re: hardy complete angler traveller set

Hi Joe:Just a quick question regarding the price of my 2004 hardy complete angler traveller set which has just been passed down to me. The question is how much is it worth? The reason i ask is my inlaw wants to buy it and has offered me $1,000 would this be reasonable? It is in mint cond only used twice. Many thanks for a reply Andy

Hi Andy,

I don't have any data on newer rods....but, I did find a recorded sale of one of these in July 2008 for 780 British Pounds.  That's roughly $1,100 or so at the current exchange rate.  A price of $1,000 sounds like it is probably fair and will make your in-law happy.
