making a pack rod

Hi, I have aquired quite a few graphite rods and am thinking of cutting a couple down to use as pack rods.  I've found several metal ferrules available for this.Is there a source for some kind of graphite or glass ferrules available?

Paul,
They don't make graphite or glass ferrules to the best of my knowledge. They replace not repair broken fiber glass and graphite rods.
I can't recommend putting more than 2 metal ferrules on a fly rod. It ruins the action.
I recommend a pack blank.
