Winchester Telescopic Fly Rod

Question
Hi
I have an old Winchester telescopic fly rod and was wondering what it was worth?
Made in the USA No. 5090
The reel holder has "PAT.FEB.1.1921"
The cork is in ok condition, few little chips where flys have pulled out I guess. It is approx 9" long with 3 guides plus tip which has 3 eyes together. It also has a metal rod case. Thank you for your time and help.
Barry

Answer
Hi Barry,
I have a couple of the old Winchester telescopic rods myself.  In reasonably decent condition they typically bring from $20.00 to $40.00 in most sale situations.  With the metal rod case, assuming it is original to the rod, your set could be worth up to $50.00 to the right buyer.  These were good old rods in their day judging by the number that are out there, but they haven't much appeal these days.

Thank you for the question.  Joe
