Crowbar Fishing Hooks

Question
These hooks are used for salmon fishing on the west coast, using whole herring or anchovys. I want to try them for trolling for stripers in the lakes in Arizona where i live. There is also a hook called a cable hook that looks the same. They have a long shaft on them between 4 to 6 inchs. I found them at Hi's Tackle Box in San Francisco,CA.

Answer
Hi Bob;

 Well I just learned something new about hooks.  The only hook patterns I am familiar with that resembles the hooks you have described are the extra long shanked style number 066N 2x hooks manufactured by eagle claw and style number 92611 having a similar design by Mustad.  Should you not find exactly what you are looking for, those patterns might be suitable in an appropriate size.  I you would like to check them out on line, you can find them under fishing (saltwater) terminal tackle, hooks, at Cabelas.com.
