How do you make a troutline for catfish

Sorry i havent answered your question....my internet has been screwed up for a few days and i could not get online.

Well i have never used a trout line but i do know how they work...lol...i cant really give you specifics but i can give you a general idea and at least get you started.

Well first, you can always buy a troutline already made at walmart....id check those out first...all youd need would be hooks then.

NOTE: Trout lines are made of rip-cord like line...not fishing line. You can buy rip cord at walmart.

A trout line is a line with multiple lines runnign from a main line with hooks on each line.   Decide how long you want the line to be...say 15-20 feet long.  Then every foot or so tie lines running down from that main line..you can make each line differnt lenghts.....say from 2 feet all teh way up to 6 or 7 feet.  Then tie hooks on the end of the lines and bait them with differnet  baits.  Next go to the site where you want to place the trout line, you will need to have a good anchor on the bank to tie the line to.  You can tie it to a tree or drive a stake very deep into the ground. Then just throw it out. Coem back in a few days to see if you caught anything.
