Montague 1FLF Flash Fly Rod

Hi Joe

I recently purchased a Montague 1FLF 9 foot "Flash Fly" rod.  4 sections total which includes an extra tip.  The rod is in the original tube with metal screw cap lid and includes the orginal bag.  It appears that this rod may have never been used - not the slightest scratch on it anywhere.  Would you have an estimate as to its value.

Hi Paul,

Montague made the Flash model from the 1930s-1950s initially as a lower middle range rod and later as a higher middle range rod.  Some photos sent to [email protected] may help me narrow down the date of manufacture.

In excellent condition the rod should be in the $250-$350 range depending on actual condition.
