fenwick fishing rod

I have a fenwick rod ser.#N124587 model 640 50 lb. class made in USA I would like to know the year this rod was made,what kind of fishing it was used for and the approx value?

N dates your rod to 1975-76. Its a casting rod is for big game fishing in the ocean - you would cast of a boat maybe a pier...a Penn 50 reel would go nicely with it.

i would expect it to sell for $50 to $75 depending on condition.
