Fishing in Milwaukee harbor

I will be visiting Milwuakee in early June.  How is the fishing in the harbor typically the week after Memorial Day?  Can you recommend a fishing guide for a morning or afternoon trip?

I saw a show on ESPN that showed two guys fishing in a bass boat using top water plugs.

Thoughts?

Hi Richard,

It is very hard to predict the fishing here.  We are about two to three weeks behind so that will be good for you.  June is typically a rough time with the lake in transition.  

Eric Haataja and Ben Kueng both guide the harbor, but I am not sure if they are at that time.

You may not need a guide or a boat.  There are so many shore opportunities that you can take advantage of.  Write me back around Memorial day and I will give you an update.  Things are going well right now.
