Vintage Heddon Rod #125 - Identification, Age & Value

Hi Rich
Recently I purchased a Heddon rod
the ID is #125 9 2.5 HCH or D
I have been able to determine it is an Expert
and 9 is the length 2.5 is ferrule and the rest
Of the letters are line weight
Can you tell me age and approx value
The rod came in original sock and metal case
It appears to have never been used.
Any information is greatly appreciated

Hi Linda, That rod was sold most likely in 1950s. I think most of those rods were made for Sears and Roebuck stores. It was sold as a heavy trout/Bass rod. It's worth around $250 give or take $50...if it has the original tube. I hope that helps.
