Pole
I have acquired 6 1/2 foot Pezon et Michel rod in what appears to be in great condition with bag and tube. Weight 3 1/4 Line size 5. Can't find a serial number but pole appears to be old. Just says made in Paris.
Any idea on worth and how to go about appraisal?

AnswerHi Anson - Sounds like a nice rod. A lot depends on condition and configuration. If it is in great shape and is a 2 piece 2 tip rod I'd put the value at around $600 to $700. To get a good appraisal you need to take it to a reputable rod maker or dealer. The only way to get a true accurate appraisal on a bamboo rod is to let a knowledgeable person examine the rod in person.
