swing muscles

Question
Can you tell me which muscles control the swing from take away to finish.  i am not asking for names of specific muscles just a general overall picture like fingers, toes, or feet etc...
thank you for your time

Answer
Jason,

Great question. I'll make the answer very easy to understand. If you use your shoulder, back and chest muscles almost exclusively in the golf swing, you will be successful. The muscles of the shoulders and back are bigger, thus they move more consistently and slower than the smaller muscles which can move fast. This will produce a nice pace to your swing and you'll produce quite a bit of torque (power). The legs mainly work as braces for the upper body.

Be patient with this swing and it will pay huge dividends.

Thank you and let me know how you're doing.
